NORSE IS JUST EMERGING AS A TOPIC OF MEDICAL INTEREST

This is largely due to its rarity and the lack of agreement and integration of medical terms.  Despite its being an emergency medical condition with potentially devastating consequences, there is little public awareness of NORSE and even less funding for NORSE research.  There is so much that needs to be learned to reach our goal of effective treatment for NORSE.
